Ok, let’s keep it simple. etnies wants to fly you and a guest out to Goofy vs. Regular 2007 and give you VIP passes for the entire weekend. That means you'll be in the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest watching the contest, hanging out with the pros, getting loads of free etnies and GvR gear and partying with etnies!
To enter, all you gotta do is sign up for our new Text Message alerts, which will keep you informed on everything etnies. The alerts will also keep you up to date on all the latest GvR happenings, now, and during the contest weekend itself! You love your phone, you love texting, you love etnies and skateboarding so do the right thing and enter to win yourself a pretty rad vacation now!
One last thing. For now, etnies can only send our Text Alerts to US phone numbers. So if you are in another country, we still love you and you can still enter to win the contest. Aug 17, 2007Ryan Sheckler lost his three-peat at Vans to Greg today, and that is only because he dis-located something on his arm somewhere. It is hard to skate with a broken arm. He did not do as well because of the dis-location. And that is the only reason why he lost. He was skating in pain, and apparently lost his focus. I was there with him in person, I can read lips, and I could interpret his cuss words.

Aug 17, 2007I was at Vans Invitational yesterday, today (Day 1 and Day 2) -- and I am going back tomorrow and the next day (Day 3 and Day 4).
I have a 4-day pass.

Aug 17, 2007He was skating right in front of me; he suddenly wheeled up and said he had dis-located something on his arm and his skating went downhill from there. Those skills he has went right out of him like somebody pulled a rug out from underneath his feet. I saw him go from really good to really bad in mere seconds. He was overly-exhausted at the end and I could see him breathing hard. Like a panting. He was very hot, so he took his shirt off and rested for awhile after his run.

Aug 18, 2007Gosh he was hurt that bad..unfortunately I missed it, which was such a piss off. But atleast he came in 2nd to bad he didn't get to wipe out the whole thing..like he wanted to. He is a skate prodigy. I think hes awesome. You can hate me for that. But really hes skating is pretty tight.
