To celebrate Ryan Sheckler’s second pro model shoe, the Sheckler 2, etnies is taking the RV across the country to support Ryan at the Dew Tour, X Games and etnies GvR. The first stop of Sheckler’s Summer Tour was the Dew Tour in Baltimore on June 21, which was also Go Skateboarding Day, and of course, Ryan kicked ass and won! There was also a signing where Ryan met and signed autographs for his fans, so do your best to make it to the next stop and meet Ryan!

Got this email from a woman named Keeley Cruickshanks a few weeks ago! She named her daughter Etnie and sent us some pix!
I named my daughter Etnie, as my fiancé is a sponsored rider, not by etnies, but we both loved the word and thought it would make a good name for our baby girl who is now 9 months old. In Ireland it means "a saint" after Saint Etienne. "Etnie" is the female version. I am at the moment trying to get Etnie in to baby modeling so if u ever need a baby model for etnies clothing in catalogs or something just holla'. We would be more than happy to represent etnies clothing. Thanks!

The Latest on Ali

Got an email from Flip today:
ALI is currently making good progress in his recovery, after leaving PTA ward (post traumatic amnesia) he is able to walk unassisted to his bathroom, where the nurses happily wash him in the shower. Much to Ali's distaste as he was never one for showers in the past.
He partakes in physical therapy on a daily basis. Each day he becomes stronger and stronger due to all the excellent hospital food that he can now eat and no longer requires being fed through his stomach. He's has been given an electric wheelchair to assist in longer journeys around the hospital and has undergone the advanced electric wheelchair course and is now allowed on short rides on the streets under hospital supervision.
The last contact with Ali he talked about putting some chrome accessories on the wheel chair to pimp it out. All in all, Ali is making headway in his recovery and the doctors are happy with his amazing progress. We will keep you updated in future posts.
