INAUGURAL “ARBY’S ACTION SPORTS AWARDS” TO PREMIERE ON FOX, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10
The top action sports performances of the year will be honored at the inaugural Arby’s Action Sports Awards presented by FUEL TV, airing nationally on FOX, Sunday, December 10. The ceremony will bring together the biggest names in skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, freestyle motocross and more along with dozens of celebrities from across the entertainment spectrum for one star-studded, high-flying show!
Winners will be determined by the combination of fan balloting and a panel of expert judges, then announced during taped ceremonies on November 30. FOX will air the show nationally on December 10, at 2:30 PM ET/PT or 4:30 PM ET/PT either preceding or following local NFL coverage that afternoon (check local listings).

Ali's New Pro Model!

Just under a year ago, the dynamic of the etnies skate team was forever changed with the addition of Ali Boulala. This January, Ali will take etnies to realms it’s never seen before with his first etnies pro model, the Ali. Uncle Clifford, etnies Skate Team Manager, sent us this Feast Tour update from the road! Clifford is British and I didn't want to edit his writing too heavily, so if this sounds a little weird, that's why. HAHAHA.
Hello skate rats. Well I am currently in Florida on the final leg of the Flip Feast Southeast tour. There's been some proper capers, I tell thee. It's been Arto and Apple's birthday in the same week after all. Now we get to go to Tampa and try and stay out of trouble. Dear me. From November 9 to 20, 2006, Flip and Fury, in conjunction with etnies are teaming up for the Feast Southeast Tour to wreak havoc from Dallas, Texas, to Miami, Florida, and several points along the way.
One look at the names and faces of the pros on the poster should tell you that this is an event that is not to be missed. There are six skatepark demos and four in-store autograph signings planned along the route. At the last Feast Tours, kids traveled up to 12 hours to witness an event of this magnitude, so we are doing everything we can to spread the word far and wide.
As you know, etnies pros Arto Saari, Ali Boulala, Rune Glifberg, and am Eric Fletcher will be part of the mayhem! Be there if you can. If not, stay tuned here on etnies.com and to the sites below for details, video, photo, coverage and more!

Thanks to SkateDaily we found out that Rune placed second this weekend at the Desert Dog Bowl Bash in Peoria, Arizona. The event was the 2006 World Cup Bowl Series ender. Congrats Rune!

The GLUE Network Mural that was painted at GvR '06 will be showcased for the next month at Voice 1156 Gallery!
Artists that participated in painting the mural at GvR will be in attendance showing at least 2 or 3 other pieces in the show.
