Big congrats to Joshua Bennett for being chosen the Grand Prize Winner of the etnies GvR '06 contest He and a guest will be flying out to GvR '06 next month to attend the contest, Beastie Boys concert, VIP 20th Anniversary party and get his hands on loads of free etnies gear! Also congrats to runners-up Ryan from Simi Valley, CA and Tyler from Lattigo, CT! Both scored themselves some free etnies shoes.
Brittney from Lincoln Nebraska was the Grand Prize winner of the etnies & Dropping Daylight giveaway and won heaps of free stuff from the band and etnies, while Braden from Downer's Grove, IL got runner-up and some free etnies kicks.
We also picked a ton of winners for the ME (my etnies) shoe design contest and they will all shortly be getting an email with a special code to design and order a free pair of custom ME (my etnies) shoes! So congrats to Simon of Sydney, Australia, Danielle of Mt. Beach Bums Junkyard Jam Results!

Check out what went down at the Beach Bums Junkyard Jam we sponsored last weekend. Found it over at TransWorld:
The event took place on Saturday Sept. 16th at Canyon High School across the street from Beach Bums Boardshops in Anaheim Hills. The day started off with an amateur game of S.K.A.T.E. sponsored by éS Shoes, followed by a one hour rail jam with a $10,000 purse for the top 3 winners. Amongst free snow cones from Volcom, and Polaroid pictures at the Nixon booth, Beach Bums had top professional skaters from Billy Marks to Braydon Szafranski entered in the contest.
The crew at 4 Down did it again by customizing the Lincoln Towncar to perfection with two flatbars and a bench on the hood. Billy Marks jumped off to a early lead landing a kickflip front board, and a nollie front board. As the event was coming to a close, it looked like we had a definite winner. Then out of nowhere Justin Brock landed a front blunt big spin to take it home with two minutes left turning the event upside down. As time ran up judges Oliver Flores, John Francis, and Scuba Steve ( éS ) came to a final tally...
FINAL RESULTS:
First Place, $7,500, Justin Brock
Second Place, $2,000, Billy Marks
Third Place, $500, Malcom Watson
Special thanks to etnies for co-sponsoring the event, éS Shoes for putting on the game of skate, Bill Keller (Team B.K.) for hosting the event, 4 Down for design and layout and all the vendors and athletes that made this event a success.

The last big etnies event in Europe in 2006 is coming up on October 6-8th. The etnies European Open in the Stadio dei Marmi will be the last big happening for the European Skate scene before Fall kicks in. So pack your bags and head to Roma to witness one of the best skateboard events Italy has ever seen. A perfect streetcourse designed and built by IOU Ramps will be awaiting, as well as the amazing King Size Ramp by Red Bull.
