May 17, 2006damn.. i must be old. because i remember the Natas story from a Thrasher back in the 80's. His parents were expecting a girl and wanted to name her Natasha. When Natas was born a boy, they named him Natas. This is the truth. Natas did the highest ollies back in the day, but i have not skated since 1989 so who knows anymore.

May 17, 2006There's a famous skateboarder named Natas Kaupas. Rumor was his parents were satanists as "natas" is satan spelled backwards. According to an interview with Natas himself, his Lithuanian parents thought they were having a girl and were going to name her Natasha or Natalia. When a boy was born they altered it to Natas, which is a surname used in Lithuania. While this doesn't completely answer your question, hopefully it'll help you on your way. (got this via google)
