   I was just at the Etnies demo in halifax nova scotia canada yesterday n it was wicked..i was on the quarterpipe n ronnie creager came up n started talkin to me :| ..n ryan sheckler came outta the bowl like a kicker n ollied 17 decks..It was insane!..cant believe i got to skate in the same park as pros at the same time..

   skateboard companies should give back to skating, and try to it better, i think there should be more skate parks around, i was skating the only good spot around my neiborhood and people would tell me to take my board and go somewhere else, geez no one appreciates talent these days.

   Sometimes u just really feel like skateboarding and although ur not alnding every trick u feel happy thats wen u know u love skateboading wen it doesnt matter if ur the best in skool,as long as u have fun.

    Although there is alot of love within the realm of skateboarding. I've noticed alot of problems with hate or dislike towards peers. So my Question to anyone is, are the haters considered skaters or merly distractions, for the true love?

    people at my school take skateboarding as a smoking, drinking, cursing type deal and it's not at all. I don't smoke, curse, or drink and I skateboard. At my school if you wear skateing clothes such as Etnies, Volcom, Almost, etc. and don't do the skateing thing at my school (i.e. smoking, cursing, etc.) then you are considered a poser and so i keep my skateboarding on teh DL because I don't want to be called a poser.

    Kayla...lots of people feel like they have to put a label on everything! ie:poser, player, hater etc.

    My advice is to just be yourself and dont care what others think! Believe me... school will be gone before you know it and none of it will really matter...

    So just do good in school and always always be true to yourself. In the end that is all you will have:)

    yeah shit like that always happens to me, all my friends r gay and i act gay so i can hang with them, but that dont mean i wanna get fucked in the ass, uno what i mean... i love skating but parties get really hardcore on friday nights, i mean reall really hardcore (sexual hardcore. maybe i should get new friends cause the friends i got dont even skate, so y do i hang with them if im not gay

    etnies has been around for a loong time....since i can remeber. and it always seems that there dedicated to what they do. but now a days u see companies trying to get into skateboaring. its like where the hell were u in the beggining when everything started. they looked at skating back then and thought it was a fad. only now do they see that its here to stay. they see the potential to make money so they try and come into skating now, but what they dont understand is that skating is more of an art form than a bussiness to make money. people can feel when companies are fake and just are out to get there money.

    There doesn't seem to be any fact on this page at all, just random bashing of whoevers opinions, and the venting of issues towards skating (and those guys in the tight pants).
